About the Owner

My name is Brea and I am an artist :)

I am a self taught artist, who discovered my passion for arts about 13 years ago. I starting out creating simple designs made from little seed beads, and now, after years of developing my talents and unique style, exploring the arts that I love and attending Kendall College of Art and Design, I am a glass artist and a metalsmith and use my passion, to create one of a kind wearable art jewelry.

Each piece I create, is special and has significant meaning in some way. They represent something that I am passionate about in life and each has a story that makes my work even more unique.

 I live in a small town in West Michigan, I have 5 children, an amazing, loving, caring life companion, and pets....lots of pets.

I love to create. Not only my jewelry and glass sculptures, but I also find great pleasure in photography, gardening, painting, drawing and paper arts.

I have taken advanced metalsmithing courses at Kendall College of Art and Design, in Grand Rapids MI. I also want to explore casting, so I can expand my design style even more.

I love books, music, collecting things...lots of things. I kind of have an issue when it comes to collecting items. I have hundreds of old books, unique stones and rocks that I have found on the beaches of lake Michigan (another design idea that I have...using beach stones in my jewelry!), trinkets, antique things, chairs...I have a serious issue with antique chairs and small tables!!!! ;-)) SO, needless to say, our home is cozy and is full of treasures!

I am also a very spiritual person. I love to study different religions, discover other ways of life, trying to find balance and peace in my own life. I am still searching! ;-))

Studying dreams, philosophy, astrology and buddhism are some of the other ways I search for lifes answers and ways...
